South Dakota State Employees Organization members and chapter delegates are invited to attend the SDSEO’s 2014 House of Delegates. The 2014 House of Delegates will be held Saturday, Sept. 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Please join with us as we celebrate the 42nd anniversary of the SDSEO and help set the SDSEO priorities and agenda for the upcoming year. This year's HOD will include morning discussion breakouts of health insurance, retirement, compensation, and the SDSEO. Representatives from the Bureau of Human Resources and the South Dakota Retirement System will be on hand to help the discussion groups be both informative and fruitful.

A lunch begins at noon, and we have confirmations from Reps. Pat Kirschmann (Retirement Laws, Commerce and Energy, Taxation), Jim Bolin (Appropriations, Retirement Laws), and Kathy Tyler (Education, Local Government) that they will be in attendance as Honored Guests. In addition, State Senate candidate Ruth Rehn (Pierre-area) contacted the SDSEO and has been welcomed to attend as an Honored Guest. More legislators have been invited and will be updating us as we near Sept. 13.

Aug. 14 Update: State Senator Jeff Monroe (Judiciary, Taxation, Transportation) has confirmed he will be in attendance at HOD.
